Dear Darklings,
The 2.0 favicon has been revealed. There is also some additional sign up information below for authors, influencers, and readers.
🖤FOR INDIE AUTHORS🖤
Please queue for the Authors Only Facebook Group.
While I am looking into alternatives to Facebook Groups, I’ve yet to find one that will work in the way I need it to. When/if I do, you will be notified of the migration within the Facebook Group. So please go ahead and request to join!
If you are a debut author without an Amazon link yet, please submit your Goodreads link instead.
🔥INFLUENCERS🔥
There is an Influencer FB group you’re welcome to request to join, but until an event date is picked, I will be primarily focused on getting authors signed up and settled in💗 To be an Influencer, you must have an active, bookish-centric Bookstagram, BookTok, and/or BookTube account.

📚READERS📚
Make sure you are subscribed to the Dark Mode Books newsletter if you’re not already (if you’re seeing this in your inbox, then you already are).
When you sign up, you will be sent an auto welcome email. Should this email go to your junk folder, please make sure you mark Dark Mode as NOT spam—otherwise, you will miss our communications😫🫂
Some of you asked about starting a Discord for Dark Mode as a newsletter alternative—I’m looking into this but I simply don’t know if I have the capacity to take that kind of work on at the moment. If I figure out a way to do it, I will send an update via email.
🦋THE FAVICON DESIGN🐍
After months of iterations and reworks, I finally settled on this design of a bookmark, death moth, and snake! I think it embodies the vibe of Dark Mode so well and I can’t wait to reveal the new word mark that will go with it🥵😈
The favicon’s colors can be switched out for each event, just like the old wordmark was red and then blue! This way, for my aesthetic friends, you’ll have some options 🫡 I’m also working on a black & white gritty edition, a blood splattered edition, and more!
2.0 is in dev but still has a long way to go! Please continue to be patient with me as I strive to create something epic for us all🖤
